This year, I wanted to start making games for Facebook, HTML5, and Mobile.
I figured my first game for all these platforms should be as simple as possible.
But what game, I wondered, could be flexible, stretch my skills, and be squeezed into a short development time?

My brainstorming process apparently runs on bad puns.

It's the standalone version of Flash Builder 4.6.
I do have Eclipse, but I couldn't be assed to install the plugin, despite the fact that Flash is *itself* a plugin.

Flash really is just a whole bunch of java frameworks. No wonder the Actionscript 3.0 syntax is the same as Java, it's because it IS Java.

Also, if you notice, you don't need to pay anything to create flash games. The actual process of creating .swf files are through Flex 3, which is free. It's the IDEs that cost the actual money. :p
