Blockhead: Quick Shot 2

"A brilliant short!"

date: July 7, 2008

Of course, I'm voting it only 8 so I can save 10's for more of your amazing works.

Loving the extremely fluid animation, contrasted with Blockhead's extremely discontinuous runaway train of thought. And as an Actionscripter myself, I appreciated that semicolon joke. Damn syntax errors!

Game of Life

"<3'd it"

submission: Game of Life
date: May 31, 2008

How can this only get 2.34/5.00? It was amazing!

Then again I'm probably biased because I love computer science and Conway's Game of Life, but still, you have some amazing programming skills there.

If possible, make one with a bigger grid, and the option of the grid looping. I want to make a Gosper Glider gun. It would also be interesting if you were allowed to change the rules of the game. And though not neccessary, I'm sure some music would make the game more attractive to the Newgrounds majority.

No fancy graphics, no hyper-animation : just pure fun. You have inspired me to program awesome games like these.

A few glitches, such as collision detection, but that's picky. I LOVE THIS GAME.

"Wow!"

Pure amazing. Much funnier, longer, and better animated than your previous toons. How this got away without a front page I have no idea. Congrats on all the awards.

Headshot

"Deserves a higher score"

submission: Headshot
date: May 21, 2008

While it wasn't the best, I thought it was fairly amusing. It deserves at least a 3.00 score. The best part was the smooth, FBF fire. The simplicity fits the humor. Please work on projects for more than two days.

5/5.

The high score is <sarcasm> TOTALLY </sarcasm> not because I'm part of your Lazer Collab. Which was better than this.

Tag and Mac Shorts

"Sweet"

submission: Tag and Mac Shorts
date: May 8, 2008

I was a fan of the Halloween episode, and I like this one, even if it's not finished. It looks good so far. (Except you should add a wire to the game controller)

But yeah, I agree, this should have been in the alphas section. But still, great job.

Tag and Mac's Halloween

"You had me at hello..."

date: May 8, 2008

...or at the opening sequence, anyway. The opening scene's camera pan and focus was brilliant. The atmosphere build-up was fantastic, and I was honestly scared by the monster's first appearence. Also, good choice of music.

One thing you could work on is voice acting. I can hear the crinkling from your microphone, and Tag's and Mac's voices are too similar. May I suggest a more robotic voice for Mac. For Tag, his voice acting is fine. Just give him a tail.

By the way, keep both characters. A teenage cat and an irate robot is one of the most original cast I've seen so far.

I hope to see future episodes! Keep it up!

Sinta

"Generally Good"

submission: Sinta
date: May 3, 2008

Good news:---------First off, good work on creating a cute epic game. That alone takes a lot of effort, not to mention secrets and a star count. (I liked how you could shoot down the chandeliers.)

The enemies were fairly original: the venomous spider, for example. (Though it looks like a ladybug with a string coming out its hole.) Sinta was well animated, too.

Thank you for animating multiple deaths for Sinta, instead of Sinta having only one death animation, as most games do.

Lastly, THANK YOU for autosave.

Bad news:-------However, the game was sort of boring. There's not much in this game that entices the gamer. Many of the elements in the game have been done to death by other games.

No puzzle elements, no real story, and no game physics. The arrows don't even fall down due to gravity.

Furthermore, introducing the enemies beforehand leaves out all the suspense in playing the game.

Many of the features also LOOK like glitches. When I first came to the first secret room, I thought it was a glitch. You should have something that tells the gamer it's a secret room.

---------------
Basically, good game character design, but work on gameplay. Make it more exciting. 9/10

Particle Pong

"Great Game Physics, but Gameplay?"

submission: Particle Pong
date: May 3, 2008

The best part about the game was the gravity-warping physics. Very smooth and visually appealing. The particle effects were good eye candy, but in a way distracting.

The main negative point is the gameplay's unoriginality. It's PONG. I've seen your other game, and I say you have amazing programming talent, and you would do great if you applied the game physics to an original game.

Good luck!

Furry Yiff Animation TC

"Very High-Tail-Hall-esque"

date: March 21, 2008

however, wrong dimensions for the flash, and a little short. But graphics and sound were good! I also visited your FA, and your art looks really professional! Keep it up! Maybe you should expand on this and make it something like High Tail Hall.

BTW, welcome to Newgrounds!
