A brilliant short!

Of course, I'm voting it only 8 so I can save 10's for more of your amazing works.

Loving the extremely fluid animation, contrasted with Blockhead's extremely discontinuous runaway train of thought. And as an Actionscripter myself, I appreciated that semicolon joke. Damn syntax errors!

Wow!

Pure amazing. Much funnier, longer, and better animated than your previous toons. How this got away without a front page I have no idea. Congrats on all the awards.

5/5

Sweet

I was a fan of the Halloween episode, and I like this one, even if it's not finished. It looks good so far. (Except you should add a wire to the game controller)

But yeah, I agree, this should have been in the alphas section. But still, great job.

You had me at hello...

...or at the opening sequence, anyway. The opening scene's camera pan and focus was brilliant. The atmosphere build-up was fantastic, and I was honestly scared by the monster's first appearence. Also, good choice of music.

One thing you could work on is voice acting. I can hear the crinkling from your microphone, and Tag's and Mac's voices are too similar. May I suggest a more robotic voice for Mac. For Tag, his voice acting is fine. Just give him a tail.

By the way, keep both characters. A teenage cat and an irate robot is one of the most original cast I've seen so far.

I hope to see future episodes! Keep it up!

Great!

It's the typical stickman showdown, except with a good choice of music, excellent special effects, and fast-paced action! Loved it, for a short!

Eh.

Nothing really redeeming other than it's educational and the interesting variant on the Newgrounds preloader. Sorry. Possibly, add some music, throw in a few more tutorials, and make the tutorial format a bit tidier.

But hey, it was just to help a friend, so... eh.

A great start!

It looks like you've REALLY got potential! This is by far the best work I've seen from a novice in Macromedia Flash. Another prominent quality is that you can really capture the essence of a drama/fight scene.

A few things to work on: maybe some voice talent, fix the grammar for easier reading, and faster-paced action wouldn't hurt.

For this, I vote 4/5 and I'm recommending it for the Cats collection. I hope to see more. =)

PHIL-osophy?

Graphics: It had good detail: shading and bothering to create something that's not semblent to a crappily-done stickman movie. Phil and Bill, however, seemed kinda out-of-proportion to me.

Style: I found it awkward how often symbol reuse was employed: I mean, Phil's body was mostly the same symbol. I just can't imagine someone losing his sanity with his hands in his pocket.

Sound: Good voicing, but style of music selection was too common for my tastes.

Interactivity: Scene select and Play buttons are good. :)

Humor: VERY humorous. VERY.

Personally, I believe that fate and free will are independent. I believe in determinism. Determinism is that SCIENCE controls everything we do. Free will is our brain deciding what to do with our puny mortal bodies. I don't believe in religious fate, however.

Love the squirrel. Keep it up. PHIL GETS PHIL-OSOPHICAL!

Stylish, and how.

The first thing is that I really really really really really did I mention really... liked your new animation style, it's so smooth.

When I first saw this animation, I instantly realized the characters and graphics style, but I was surprised by the cataclysmical change of animation style: for a moment I started doubting it really WAS you who animated it. (Really)

Judging from your previous animations, it seems that your FBF skills have dramatically improved. (Well, you used to have more tween-intensive animations.) It must've been a lot of effort to maintain such smooth FBF through the whole animation, and I'd say your efforts were worth it. Keep it up!

However, I'll miss your old style. Will you somehow intertwine both FBF and tweens equally in your next animation? That'll rock.

Graphics: Cartoony, but it fits the song.

Style: I just told you; ROCKS OUT SO LOUD!

Sound: Minor looping problem, but extremely good choice and it IS catchy. VERY catchy.

Violence: Eyeshot, spontaneous combustion, a guy tripping over.
Interactivity: Lil' PLAY button.

Humor: Most of the animation was hilarious, and those parts were absolute 'LOL'. My favourite scene was with the slot machine, runner ups being some furries jumping off a cliff and the decapitation.

Oh yeah, good idea of looping it. Now, I can just STARE at your animation for hours without having to hit replay or anything. It was also a novel idea to loop not completely, but to a certain point.

I really hope to see more of your awesome work!

[Insert witty title here]

Why is this scoring such a low score? This flash was GREAT.
Anyway, I'm giving you 5/5 and 8/10.

Graphics: It's okay, although some line differentiating could make it better.

Style: A little bit too much tweening for my tastes, and the shrinking chainsaw seems a little bit lazy.

Sound: The music pieces overlap each other, causing a few seconds of acoustic madness, and someimes causing a few seconds of silence. And even when soft, the voicing is clear. (However, I have hyperacusis) I even managed to make out some of the senseless rambling.

Also, good choices of music.

Violence: Even there was no graphic violence, sound effects and imagery makes for very vivid gory pictures in my head.

Humor: It's very funny. A sadistic funny.

P.S: It's SEVEN years bad luck, not 13.

littlewarrior responds:

7 years?!? For real?!? ... Huh... Who would've thought it? You just HAD to mention the chainsaw... It was either that or it came out of nowhere... :D They overlap? I thought that only happened on replay!!! Cursed replay...
