The TV pilot Wentworth and Buxbury was animated entirely in Flash, and not only that, but animated by members of our very own Newgrounds community! Read that again, for it should strike some form of Newgroundian patriotism. These NG animators are:
- me, Nutcasenightmare (Head Animator)
- Blitzam (Assistant Animator)
- Wogoat (Assistant Animator)
Getting our works on TV isn't just some sort of fanciful wish; we already have had success with Wentworth and Buxbury, as we have even gotten ourselves as one of the Official Selections of the New York Television Festival!: (http://www.nytvf.com/2008_ipc_selecti ons.htm Ya gotta scroll all the way down, serves us right for picking a name starting with the 23rd letter of the alphabet)
The New York Television Festival is sponsored by names such as Fox, A&E, MSN, etc. Screenings of Wentworth and Buxbury are free. Check out the screenings times here: http://www.nytvf.com/tixSYS/2008/progg uide/title/detail/
Written, directed, and produced by: Timothy Nash, Hayden Grubb and Lucas Crandles (From Dark Heart Productions)

SYNOPSIS:
Wentworth and Buxbury are two young, charismatic, but nonetheless unfathomably evil supervillains-in-training with a healthy mutual disdain for one another (and a healthy mutual love of crumpets). A bizarre blend of callous homicidal instinct and the utmost of civility. The pair are sworn arch-nemeses yet at the same time, though they are loth to admit it, they might just be friends too.
Wentworth & Buxbury is an animated television series that has been in development for over two-and-a-half years, in which time a six-episode first series has been fully scripted. It is a series with a variety of influences; think Spy vs Spy meets Family Guy meets Monty Python.
