Hey!

I beta-tested this game on Mochi! I'm glad you took my advice on allowing the player to restart immediately. However, you can still use the arrow keys to move the dead body, there's no level select, and you can jump in midair.

Other than that, a really great game! *added to action collection*

AethosGames responds:

Thanks. i have some problems to fix for the sequel, including a total rehaul of the collision detection system.Hopefully, that will increase smoothness of play and better controls. There will also be new features to the game. keep an eye out!

A great test of patience...

...which doesn't really go well with many Newgrounders. It's challenging, yes, but for me, the real time physics of the alien being blown to pieces was worth it.

However, I do feel the game gets a little repetitive after a while, as it's the same environment, same graphics, same music, same goal, and same objects. Also, I found it frustrating that once I found that 'sweet spot', I had to move the mouse to click the Reset button. Maybe allowing the player to press 'Space' or 'R' would be better?

Also, try using cookies instead of codes to allow the player to go to another level. It's a lot easier for the player.

Lastly, blood. I would have really loved to see tonnes of blood just SQUIRT right out of their bodies. ("Please, lie down on the couch.") For some reason blood gives me, as well as other Newgrounders, the incentive to keep on playing. Perhaps make the alien squirt more blood than the astronaut, as a reward system.

Quite good, overall!

Hey, you finally submitted it to NG!

I saw this on Mochiads previously, and I say, 4.11, what a score! It's a great game -I'm sure this flash will get a daily award! Congrats!

YAY! Nutcasenightmare, ol' pall! Thanks for all the help on suggestions and everything! What a great thing to see you on NG too! =D

Cheers!

From the creator of Your Mama Kills Animals...

At first I thought to myself, this HAD to be a satire of Peta's violent advertisements. Turns out PeTA actually has it on their website... well, wow.

Personal beliefs aside, I found this game really, REALLY entertaining. There's just something about mixing cute graphics with horribly graphic animation that just tickles me. There were, however, a few glitches. Also, and it was a little short, but I guess that's okay considering the game's purpose as an ad for PeTA.

I wonder if the guys behind Happy Tree Friends are working for PeTA... /=)

(P.S: violence isn't really going to help reach others of NG. We're all jaded Madness fans here.)

Suggestions

Add music and sound effects. Your game's file size is small enough to handle it.

Also, you may want to fix the following glitches:
-the coming back to life thing
-being able to walk over trees
-level select does nothing

And a few tips for animation:
-Don't merely split the characters when they get sliced; do something like, oh I don't know, X_X on their faces, screaming, kicking, more FBF animation, anything that would make the characters seem less rigid
-Walk cycle. Nuff said
-And, if all else fails, MOAR BLOOD!!!

Hilarious!

From the initials MF, to the questions, to the score, to the bagels, this was truely amusing! Even though it was mostly text, the graphics were still fitting and excellent.

My score: NEGATIVE eight?!... crap.
Your score: 9/10

Lol, glad you liked it man,
and i swear i thought i fixed negative scores, now i have
no idea what the hell is up.

<3'd it

How can this only get 2.34/5.00? It was amazing!

Then again I'm probably biased because I love computer science and Conway's Game of Life, but still, you have some amazing programming skills there.

If possible, make one with a bigger grid, and the option of the grid looping. I want to make a Gosper Glider gun. It would also be interesting if you were allowed to change the rules of the game. And though not neccessary, I'm sure some music would make the game more attractive to the Newgrounds majority.

THIS is what gameplay is about

No fancy graphics, no hyper-animation : just pure fun. You have inspired me to program awesome games like these.

A few glitches, such as collision detection, but that's picky. I LOVE THIS GAME.

Generally Good

Good news:---------First off, good work on creating a cute epic game. That alone takes a lot of effort, not to mention secrets and a star count. (I liked how you could shoot down the chandeliers.)

The enemies were fairly original: the venomous spider, for example. (Though it looks like a ladybug with a string coming out its hole.) Sinta was well animated, too.

Thank you for animating multiple deaths for Sinta, instead of Sinta having only one death animation, as most games do.

Lastly, THANK YOU for autosave.

Bad news:-------However, the game was sort of boring. There's not much in this game that entices the gamer. Many of the elements in the game have been done to death by other games.

No puzzle elements, no real story, and no game physics. The arrows don't even fall down due to gravity.

Furthermore, introducing the enemies beforehand leaves out all the suspense in playing the game.

Many of the features also LOOK like glitches. When I first came to the first secret room, I thought it was a glitch. You should have something that tells the gamer it's a secret room.

---------------
Basically, good game character design, but work on gameplay. Make it more exciting. 9/10

Great Game Physics, but Gameplay?

The best part about the game was the gravity-warping physics. Very smooth and visually appealing. The particle effects were good eye candy, but in a way distracting.

The main negative point is the gameplay's unoriginality. It's PONG. I've seen your other game, and I say you have amazing programming talent, and you would do great if you applied the game physics to an original game.

Good luck!
