Eh.

It could've been longer, or with voice acting, or better frame rate, or some bloody violence...

But the idea is pretty funny, that you're mocking ghosts on halloween.

One thing I'm confused about... Who are the Halloween heroes? The ghosts, or the people in costumes?

Otherwise, it's good. 6/10

CustardCartoonsInc responds:

Thanks! Yeah, this (i can admit) was just my cash in way of getting onto the newgrounds halloween list! I saw some others and they are short, so i made this in a few hours. The heroes are the ghosts and i hope on halloween you don't dress up as a ghost... otherwise they'll batter (and record you with mobile phone video) you with a metal ghost pole!

Poor amish guy.

If there's a power outage, how did the fan and lights work? ALso, that NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and DUN DUN DUN things were kinda cliche for my taste. Then again, I'm kinda hypocritical here. I had the DUN DUN DUN thing in my own animation. And great cartoon by the way.

-Graphics: It's cartoony- simple, but definitely suits the cartoon. you could use a little line thickness variation, though.

-Style: Cartoony style. See above. And yay for weird looking hands. And the deliberate n00b style for the guy's dog cartoon.

-Sound: Clear, good quality, but it wasn't syncronized properly.

-Violence: WHAT'S DID THE AMISH AND THE WINDOWS EVER DO TO YOU!?

-Interactivity: None. At all.

-Humor: Amish headshots are funny, and taking the literal translation form the Windows logo (and using a picture of a real window)

Very hilarious, because it's so very true.

-You forgot to add 'Weird Al' Yankovic into the credits. You're the only one I know on Newgrounds who used Weird Al music, BTW.

Graphics: Simple, but I don't see any reason why you should need anything complex like Anime or something, so the graphics suit the simple premise of christmas being a pain.

Style: Well, typical symbol tweening for the clock crew characters, not too orginal.

Sound: Anything from Weird Al is an instant awesome sound.

Violence: Not much violence (Apart from beating up the 'bum')

Interactivity: You have a 'replay' button, and it's not a game. (But where's the 'play' button?)

Humor: Anything from Weird Al is an instant funny.

rilstix responds:

Haha.. thats funny, cause its not Weird Al. It's the Bob Rivers Comedy Corp., as LISTED in the credits. Just because the p2p networks list the song as Weird Al don't make it so. Its kind of made obvious when you listen to the audio.. notice how no one sounds like Weird Al.. at all?!

Check that.. right up the top. Its a list of songs Weird Al didn't make.

PS- Thanks for the review!

Groovy is groovy.

Nice concept on having a happy-go-lucky (or happy-go-crazy) looking guy being a psychotic serial killer.

The frame-by-frame animation looks real smooth and the smear effects look good.

The acoustics are excellent, and it's a way better choice to have a spirit-lifting soundtrack instead of rock.

Question: Where does the gold cane go when the homicidal dude stabs the rich guy in the head?

Voted: 5/5

Nice style, cool 3d effects.

It looks a bit like 'N'.

The bulletime effects, the 3d effects, and the 'level's go really well together.

I noticed the stickman became stiff while bouncing off the walls.
